Israel's prime minister says a pilot tried to crash a plane traveling to Tel Aviv

Attacker's motive remains undetermined after FlyDubai flight to Israel escapes disaster

Netanyahu said he had met the Israeli passenger, whom he described as acting with extraordinary courage.

One pilot stabbed another pilot on a FlyDubai flight headed to Tel Aviv on Wednesday and may have tried to crash the plane before passengers and crew members subdued him, Israel's prime minister says.

Investigators will probe whether incident was linked to any 'terrorist activity or intent', UAE state media reports.

Israeli officials claimed the Flydubai incident as a "terror attack", despite the airline’s ongoing investigation.
