Live: At least two killed in Kyiv as Russia renews strikes after three-day pause
Russia resumed strikes on Kyiv late Monday after a three-day pause ordered by President Vladimir Putin expired, Ukraine’s emergency service said. Kyiv's city military administration said at least two people were killed and seven wounded. The halt coincided with visits to Moscow and Kyiv by US President Donald Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who were holding talks aimed at ending the war.
