Thailand–Cambodia Conflict

Thailand and Cambodia remain locked in a serious border-security crisis after major fighting in 2025 caused nearly 150 deaths and displaced around 300,000 people. Despite ceasefires, troops remain deployed, border tensions persist, and more than 20,000 people were still unable to return home in July 2026, making renewed escalation a sustained regional security risk.
